Biography/Blurb

Kristina Handy is a political scientist specializing in national security policy and international relations. She has over 10 years of experience in both qualitative and quantitative social science research. She has worked on and directed many projects providing data collection, management, and analysis. Dr. Handy's areas of expertise are military personnel policy, civil-military relations, and defense and national security policies and analysis. She has worked with such clients as the Army Research Institute, the Army, Navy and Air Force, the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC), the Immigration and Naturalization Service, and many other private and public agencies. Dr. Handy has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
