Biography/Blurb

Dr. Justin J. Arneson is a Senior Scientist in HumRRO’s Assessment Research and Analysis Program. He has over 7 years of applied experience in the areas of employee assessment and selection. His involvement in the development of selection assessments has included conceptual planning, job analysis, validation, and implementation. He has been responsible for evaluating operational adverse impact in assessments as well as selection systems as a whole. He has experience in job-family development, enterprise-wide competency modeling, and performance evaluation. His primary research interests revolve around the validity and fairness of various predictor measures. His dissertation investigated the linearity of the relationship between measures of cognitive ability and performance among extremely high scoring applicants. He has also conducted research evaluating the influence of socio-economic status in the cognitive ability-performance relationship. He received his Ph.d in industrial and organizational psychology, with a minor in measurement/statistics, from the University of Minnesota.
