Biography/Blurb

Irwin Hom is a software systems developer with over 15 years in designing, developing, and coding computer software programs from conception to integration. Technically proficient with 'C', Visual C++, Java, HTML, Visual Basic, Assembly, Pascal, FORTRAN, and Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/Server 2000 and 2003. Areas of expertise include systems analysis, configuration management, training and support, software architecture, databases, Web systems, and object oriented programming. He has over 12 years experience working with overall system concepts, technical approaches for meeting broadly stated requirements, allocation of requirements to system designs, preparation of preliminary systems design specifications, and conducting tradeoff studies of performance and operating characteristics against the development risks as related to cost and scheduling concerns. Mr. Hom's past experience is in working with embedded and interactive systems used for computer-based testing, networking and telecommunications, and database management. In addition, Mr. Hom has designed, setup, and managed Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) for CAT-ASVAB and other applications. Mr. Hom has a B.S. in computer science from San Diego State University.
