HumRRO's History
The Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO) was founded in 1951 by Dr. Meredith P. Crawford. We were initially a research and development (R&D) center located on the campus of The George Washington University in Washington, DC and funded by the Department of the Army. HumRRO moved its headquarters to the Old Town area of Alexandria, Virginia in 1963, and in 1969 became an independent nonprofit corporation chartered in the District of Columbia.
Today, HumRRO conducts research and analysis activities for a wide range of Federal (including the military) and state agencies and also for corporate, nonprofit, and local organizations. Our corporate headquarters is located in Alexandria, Virginia, with field offices in Monterey and San Diego, California; Louisville and Radcliff, Kentucky; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
